Bishop – Elect Andre D. Millsap Sr., is a native of Mobile AL. He is the third of three children born to the late Deacon Bobby and Mother Diann Millsap. He began his education in the Mobile County Public School System and later attended Stillman College where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music and Performing Arts. Bishop – Elect Millsap accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Chief Apostle Dr. Cleveland Smith of the St. John’s Deliverance Temple. He later joined the Nazaree Full Gospel Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Joseph D. Phillips.
On January 10, 2002 Temple of Jerusalem was founded under the leadership of the late Bishop Bobby L. Millsap Jr. where Bishop – Elect Millsap was a member and served faithfully as the Minister of Music. On April 4, 2017 God called him to be the second Senior Pastor of Temple of Jerusalem Ministries where he succeeded his Pastor and brother the late Bishop Bobby L. Millsap Jr. Bishop – Elect Millsap believes in preaching the word of God and just as importantly, he believes that we must “live” the word we preach. On August 5, 2019 he was elevated to the office of General Overseer in the Christian Fellowship of Church’s Int. under the leadership of the late Presiding Prelate Bishop Joseph D. Phillips. On March 24, 2024 Bishop – Elect Millsap joined the Apostolic International Alliance where he also received the Bull of Episcopal Intent to become a Bishop in the Lord’s Church under the leadership of Presiding Prelate Apostle Joseph Hamilton.
In addition to Pastoring Bishop – Elect Millsap has been provided oversight for three Mobile County Schools as a spiritual guidance where he serves faithfully to make a change in the community at large. Bishop – Elect Millsap is one who strives to exemplify the heart of God. He is uniquely anointed for the body of Christ with a clear and distinct voice in this 21st Century, releasing into the atmosphere the truth of God’s word, and bringing about salvation, healing, deliverance and restoration for the continued up-building of God’s Kingdom.
Bishop – Elect Millsap has such a heart for the people of God that out of this passion that his goal is to teach in such a way that the message of God’s Love is the central theme. His desire is that they might be saved and live a purpose driven life. A clarion call has went out for those within our church, the community and throughout the city admonishing so many to come and learn of this Jesus who is the answer for all the world today!
Bishop – Elect Millsap is married to the beautiful and anointed Lady Nakita Millsap. They are the proud parents of three wonderful children: Nakeria, Andre Jr. and Ava Grace. Lady Nakita Millsap serves diligently alongside her husband and impels the vision he has for Temple of Jerusalem Ministries.
God has called Bishop – Elect Millsap for such a time as this and has put in his mouth a message that will change this Generation, by Changing the Way We Do Church. The message “God’s way or no way”. Through his preaching of the Gospel people are being saved, healed, delivered and set free.
