While serving in The United States Air Force after 40 days of fasting and prayer, on a remote tour of duty in Korea, he accepted the call to ministry and since that day has not looked back. Whether he is teaching to a few, preaching to many, or ministering one on one, his anointing is executed through with boldness and expectation.
Bishop – Elect Gerald has a rich legacy of servitude and mentorship. Due to his military career; he has been blessed with the opportunity to serve under faithful leaders in various ministries both nationally and internationally who have taught and mentored him throughout his spiritual journey
For over 21 years he served under the leadership of Bishop Earnest L. Pendleton of Grace Apostolic Church. Often seen as Bishop Pendleton’s right hand, amour bearer and second assistant pastor as a servant-Leader.
Although the mantle of the pastorate was upon him ten years before stepping forward to fulfill the direction of the Lord, Elder Gerald remained a faithful servant. Upon receiving directions from God, he moved in faith as the world and ministry began to shift due to due the corona virus pandemic,The Meeting Place was birthed in January 2021.Simultaneously God orchestrated a divine connection during a meeting with Apostle Joseph Hamilton, the Founder and Presiding Prelate of the Apostolic International Alliances.This divine connection was without doubt a ‘kairos’ and led to submission as a‘Spiritual Son’ and connection to the Apostolic International Alliance Fellowship.Where he and
Lady Gerald serve as Directors of Evangelism & Registration Coordinators.
Besides his accomplishments in the military and his notable work in ministry Bishop Elect Gerald greatest joy is being happily married to the anointed Lady Phyllis Gerald for over 32 years and being the proud father of three children, two daughter-in-loves, and seven grandchildren. Bishop Elect Gerald contributes his success to God and to the love of his family. He works from the premise “We operate from the position of victory”
